I'm struggling for baby boy names that i actually like as most of them are already taken by friends and family.
I like Wyatt.
My partner likes Jameson.
We're at a deadlock because I'm not sure about shouting a brand of irish whiskey down the street every day and he thinks Wyatt sounds too much like "watt".
We've been through 18,000 names, 6 baby name books and even spent 9hrs flicking through baby name websites.
Everyone suggests common baby names like Luca, Harry, Noah or Oliver but those names are my friends kids names and also they just don't fit our family.
We don't want to traumatize or bully the kid with a ridiculous name but at the same time we don't like th⁰e run of the mill common choices because it just doesn't feel like the right fit for us.
Where we live neither name is common and we like that because there's a lot of weird choices in my 1 year olds nursery group such as Oberyn (GoT - and no the mother doesn't know), Sawyer, Crew and Aegon (GoT)....and I just don't want anything that reminds everyone of a tv character, because I think thats a bit weird.
