Hi so I had a first trimester miscarriage to which we had picked girl and boy names before the miscarriage. I have no idea what the gender of that baby was now I'm having a girl and was wandering if I should still use the name Evelyn Rose Blount (Rose being chosen after her great grandma) or if I should choose a different name altogether Aoife, Jade, Iris etc

I'm in the same exact situation. we chose a different name for the one I miscarried, but kept all potential names for future babies. I love the name Evelyn Rose, it's very pretty.

first off I am so sorry for your loss, but congratulations on the new baby girl! Second it doesn't really matter it is not bad to use a name you were going to use before and personally I think that name is very pretty
